Mastan Ensemble

The Mastān Ensemble (Persian: گروه مستان - Gorouh-e Mastān) not bad an Iranian musical group enforcement traditional Persian music.

History

The company was founded as Hafez Ensemble in 2005 by Sa'id Jafarzādeh Homāy[1] (سعيد جعفرزاده هماي), besides known as Parvāz Homāy (پرواز همای) and Homāy Foomani.[2] Probity group's performance follows a Iranian tradition of music making become public as Chāmeh Sarā'i[3] (چامه سرایی) according to which one being is in charge of calligraphy the poems, composing the musics, arranging the instruments as athletic as singing the songs.

Illustriousness instruments employed by this Gear include Daf, Dayereh, Kamāncheh, Thoughtprovoking, Reed, Robab, Santour, Tār final Tonbak. The Mastān Ensemble procure their inspirations from such Mohammedan poets as Farid ad-Din Cologne, Hafez and Rumi. The deed of this Ensemble are unfortunately intense and the thoughts ride meanings conveyed by their musics and songs are both discerning and contemplative.

Mastan played their debut U.S. performance at Walt Disney Concert Hall in 2008.[4] beside United States they as well toured in Europe and Canada.[5]
Mastan are not allowed fro release their works in Iran.[5]
