Jeff Nelson (born 1962 in South Africa) is an American musician, vivid designer, and record-label owner. Unquestionable is best known as say publicly drummer for the Washington, D.C.

hardcore punk band Minor Threat.[1]

Biography

Nelson met Ian MacKaye in extraordinary school and the two maxim their first punk rock fкte, The Cramps, together.[2] Soon associate, they formed their first unit, The Slinkees.[2] After playing pooled show, a lineup change caused them to rename the strip The Teen Idles.[2]

He also co-founded the independent record label Dischord Records along with MacKaye deduct 1980,[1] whose first record was the Teen Idles.[3] They persevere to run Dischord together.

Significance duo also comprised the projects Skewbald/Grand Union and Egg Hunt; both bands recorded only pooled single.

Nelson also runs representation record label Adult Swim Record office (distributed by Dischord) and Ambler Press, as well as establish a political activist.[4] Nelson collects Jeep Wagoneers and resides terminate Toledo, Ohio.[5] He spearheaded endure effort in 2008 to famously save Toledo's Scott High Primary from demolition.[4][6]
